PROTOTYPES - PILOT SERIES PLASTIC
Based on the master pattern produced using the RP process, using vacuum casting or low-pressure casting processes plastic parts are produced by our specialists that are suitable for testing and close to production.
 
For injection-moulded parts from original materials we can produce test moulds in aluminium or in epoxy/metal technology and create samples, 0 series or small series in Thermoplastic.
VACUUM CASTING PROCESS
The vacuum casting process is used for fast production of complex, high-precision plastic parts using silicon moulds. With our vacuum casting equipment we produce exact prototypes that are used as test samples for product development and test purposes. The starting point for this process is usually a master pattern that has been produced using the stereolithography process (STL model). Using this production method, you receive mechanically robust moulded parts that largely correspond to the requirements of the later series part (e.g. elastic, hard, transparent or heat resistant).

With the synthetic resin sheet-metal forming tools produced by

HINTSTEINER, the standard sheet qualities in the prototype and series area can be formed. The number of pieces that can be achieved depends on the sheet quality and thickness, drawing depth, radii, etc. With synthetic resins (possibly with metal inserts), between a few hundred to several thousand metal parts can be drawn.
